Indeed, representing the sellers of Sarasota’s record setting residential transaction is a great honor. I am especially proud to have taken on the task of marketing this extraordinary property and working closely with its owners through to closing.
Serving as the sellers’ realtor for this magnificent estate has been an absolute pleasure, as my clients are truly such wonderful people to work with. Having been their agent on a previous transaction, we had already established a strong line of communication, trust, and confidence, which would be essential to selling their extraordinary Venetian-style beachfront home, dubbed Serenissima, meaning “the most serene”.
It is common knowledge that the real estate industry is built on relationships, yet uncommon that a single realtor would retain an ultra-luxury listing for longer than one year, let alone the three that were necessary to find a buyer who would appreciate the extraordinary design elements, architectural majesty, quality construction and, of course, the setting along the shores of the Gulf of Mexico and within close proximity to Sarasota’s many outstanding amenities.
As with any home that the owners have poured their hearts and souls into and where so many magical family memories were made, it was especially important to have an understanding of the seller’s emotions involved in parting with their beloved home. Every minute element had been hand-selected and artisan crafted. And, of course one has to take a pause in each room to gaze at the extraordinary vistas.
I was privileged to work with the sellers from the start developing the comprehensive sales and marketing strategy, managing the careful screening of those expressing interest in viewing the property, advising them as market conditions shifted, negotiating offers on their behalf, and navigating them through the many details that go into the sale and transition of ownership processes.
