There have been many recent expert and analyst reports offering significant support for the belief that housing prices are at or near “the bottom.”  This attached article appeared today and it is yet another well-reasoned suggestion that what I and my peers have been conveying these last several months as a likely bottom to the price retreat, is more than just wishful thinking.

As the “shoulder season” of Florida real estate sales begins and our Florida and International buyers are faced with fewer choices due to contracted inventory and increased buyer demand, I believe that the prices, especially in the micro-climate of Sarasota real estate, will rise through the balance of 2012.
